  • Scanning Mode of Barcode Scanner
    Jan 26, 2024
Barcode scanners can be seen everywhere in life. Different scanning methods can be used in different application scenarios. Common scanning methods include:   Continuous Scanning Mode In this mode, after the scanner is set to continuous scanning mode, the scanning indicator light is always on. When a barcode passes by, the scanner can immediately parse the barcode information. Usually, the same barcode can only be read once after being scanned. The same barcode cannot be parsed again unless it is removed and returned to the scanning area of the scanner. Therefore, in this reading mode, there are usually two parameters that can be set: the scanning time interval of the same barcode and the scanning time interval of different barcodes. Same barcode scanning time interval: refers to the allowed scanning time interval when two identical barcodes pass through the scanning area in continuous scanning mode. Different barcode scanning time intervals: refers to the scanning time interval between two different barcodes passing through the scanning area in constant mode.     Automatic Inductive Scanning Mode In the automatic inductive scanning mode, the scanning engine will automatically detect the image in the scanning area, scan the barcode, automatically close after the barcode information is uploaded, and scan a second time when the item leaves the sensing area and approaches again. The shorter the time limit for a single barcode reading is, the faster the automatic sensing scanning speed will be.   Manual Trigger Mode Manual trigger mode, also known as manual scanning mode and button mode, is the most common scanner mode. In button mode, the scanning light turns on after pressing the button. Aim at the barcode to read. After the scan is successful, the scanning light turns off. , just press the button again to read the code   iMARCONE is a professional manufacturer of barcode scanners in China, supplying barcode scanners, desktop barcode scanner, 2D barcode scanner modules, fixed mounted barcode scanners, industrial code readers, etc. to meet your various intelligent scanning needs and greatly improve your work efficiency. , favorable prices, high-quality products, and providing professional technical services. • The Composition of Industrial Code Scanner
    Feb 20, 2024
An industrial barcode scanner is a scanning device designed specifically for industrial applications. It has the characteristics of high speed, high precision and high stability. Compared with ordinary consumer scanners, industrial scanners usually have stronger anti-interference capabilities and durability, and can work normally in harsh environments.   Industrial barcode scanners generally consist of the following parts:   Optical engine: used to capture and read the image signal of a target barcode or barcode.   Control circuit board: used to process the image signals captured by the optical engine and convert them into digital signals that can be recognized by the computer.   Enclosure: Protects and supports the scanner's internal components while providing a user-friendly appearance and meeting protection level requirements.   Interface: A connection port used for data interaction with computers or other devices (such as USB, RS-232, PS/2, etc.   Button: Can be used to manually trigger the scanning process.   Power module: Provides the power required by the scanner. And in some cases, it can transfer power through the interface, eliminating the need for external power modules.   It should be noted that different types of industrial barcode scanners may differ in specific components, but most barcode scanners have the above basic components.     Industrial barcode scanners can be used for product traceability, quality control, automated production lines, etc., greatly improving production efficiency and product quality.   iMARCONE has been specialized in the manufacture of barcode scanners for more than 15 years, and we have become the leading manufacturer of industrial barcode scanners in the Chinese domestic market and have won a high market share. We have 1D barcode scanner, 2d barcode scanner, desktop barcode scanner, waterproof barcode scanner for your choice. Welcome contact us for product details.

  • Why my Barcode Reader isn't Working Properly?
    Mar 26, 2024
In today's business environment, barcode readers play a crucial role as key tools for improving efficiency and reducing errors. However, sometimes we may encounter situations where our barcode reader isn't functioning properly, leading to workflow interruptions, decreased efficiency, or even losses. So, what could be the reasons behind our barcode reader issues? This article will analyze the problem from different perspectives and provide solutions. Damaged or Worn-Out Barcodes: Barcodes may become worn-out or damaged during usage, causing the reader to fail in correctly reading the barcode information. To address this issue, try using another device to scan the same barcode, or generate a new barcode.   Dirty Barcodes: Dirt or dust on the surface of the barcode may hinder the proper functioning of the reader. Regularly clean the barcode surface and ensure the use of a clean scanner to potentially resolve this issue.   Incorrect Barcode Type: Ensure that the reader being used supports the type of barcode you intend to read. Some readers may only support specific types of barcodes, so it's important to use a reader compatible with the desired barcode type.   Incorrect Reader Settings: Reader settings may need adjustment or reconfiguration based on the specific circumstances to ensure proper barcode reading. Refer to the reader's user manual or contact the manufacturer for assistance.   Power Issues: Check if the reader is receiving power properly. If battery-powered, ensure sufficient battery charge or replace with new batteries. If powered by a cord, ensure the power cord is properly connected.   Connection Issues: Connection problems between the reader and the computer or other devices, such as loose or damaged connection cables, may cause the reader to malfunction. Check connections and ensure they are secure.   Software Issues: The reader's software may be at fault and may require updating or reinstalling to restore proper functionality. Check if the reader's software is up-to-date and try reinstalling the software.   Environmental Factors: Strong light, heat, or other environmental factors may interfere with the proper operation of the reader. Place the reader in an appropriate environment and avoid exposure to extreme conditions.   Hardware Malfunction: If the above measures fail to resolve the issue, it may be due to a hardware component malfunction in the reader. In such cases, contact the manufacturer or customer service for repair or replacement. Encountering barcode reader problems in daily work may cause inconvenience, but by carefully identifying and addressing the issues, we can quickly restore normal workflow.

  • What is a barcode and what are its applications?
    Sep 08, 2024
Barcode recognition technology refers to the technology that uses photoelectric conversion equipment to identify barcodes.     A barcode is a sequence of wide bars, narrow bars and spaces. This sequence can represent a certain number and letter code. Barcodes can be printed on paper and other items, so they can be easily reproduced by photoelectric conversion equipment. Numerical and alphabetic information can be read by computers. Barcode technology mainly consists of three parts: scanning and reading, photoelectric conversion and decoding output to the computer.     In postal services, barcode recognition technology has been used in letter sorting, registered letter processing, express delivery automatic tracking, parcel processing and other tasks.     A barcode is a graphical identifier that expresses a set of information by arranging multiple black bars and blanks of varying widths according to certain encoding rules.     A common barcode is a parallel pattern composed of black bars (referred to as bars) and white bars (referred to as empty) with very different reflectivities. The barcode can mark the country of production of the item, manufacturer, product name, production date, and book classification number. , mail starting and ending locations, categories, dates and many other information, so it has been widely used in many fields such as commodity circulation, library management, postal management, banking systems, etc.
